Responsibilities

Provide complex strategic and detailed analytical modeling that drives decision making for Macy's Inc (Macy’s Brand, Bloomingdales and BlueMercury) as it relates to Long-Range plans
Continuously evaluate existing processes and identify areas for opportunity and optimization
Extract, manipulate and analyze data from various data sources to influence and support business strategies
Serve as a subject matter expect in terms of special projects to provide valuable and complex analysis for projects from the CFO or SVP of finance
Be able to translate complex analysis through concise storytelling to explain variances and other analysis to executive management
Taking the initiative on key projects with limited oversight related to scenario analysis and projects requiring a quick turnaround time to support urgent business requests
Prepare various monthly ad hoc analysis and financial reporting for senior management
Regularly communicate updates and status to senior management and stakeholders pertaining to the Plan and Forecast
Position is responsible for the management of the monthly and annual cash flow forecasting and planning process including managing workstreams across the company and engaging directly with the forecasting of interest, taxes and shares outstanding
Collaborate with key business leaders across all Divisions
Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities

Required

Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university
5 plus years related experience
Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
Must have above average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
Dynamic, curious and passionate about their work
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels including Senior management
Resilient leader who possesses the ability to persevere in demanding situations
Willingness to ask questions and seek answers to better understand information
Strong attention to detail, and ability to multitask
Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management
Ability to efficiently evaluate and resolve complex business challenges
Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
Excellent analytical, technical, problem solving, and project management skills
Working with Google Cloud Platform is required
Advanced skills of MS Office computer programs including Excel and PowerPoint are required
