2026 Intern - Mechanical Engineer - Onsite

They are seeking a Mechanical Engineering intern to support design, development, and production efforts in mechanical systems and processes. This role involves training on RTX tools, design documentation, collaboration with teams, and analytical engineering work.

Training and application of RTX tools including CREO and PDM
Design and Documentation support utilizing engineering tools, Adobe, and MS office suite
Engineering Change and Drawing Release
Collaboration with coworkers and teams
Analytical and Technical engineering work within a program environment with possible presentations on designs as needed
Training on Raytheon processes and procedures
Qualification
Required
This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore year by the start of Summer 2026
Must be pursuing a Bachelors or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience utilizing CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools such as CREO or equivalent
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
Preferred
3.5 or above cumulative GPA desired
Prior engineering project or internship experience
Microsoft Office or other presentation tools
Experience developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written)
