Sr Manager, Campaigns

The Senior Manager, Brand Content & Culture is responsible for driving value storytelling in the U.S. market through strategic leadership and cross-functional alignment for key value portfolio programs.

Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end strategic development of U.S. value campaigns, including McValue Evolution, Monopoly, and Digital Value initiatives
Translate business objectives, data, and fan insights into compelling marketing strategies and culturally resonant creative platforms
Partner with cross functional teams to ensure strategies ladder to system priorities and are executable across channels
Serve as the strategic point of contact for agency partners, guiding brief development, creative iteration, and integrated campaign orchestration
Oversee campaign planning across touchpoints including paid and owned channels
Drive alignment across internal teams and franchisee committees, articulating a clear point of view and navigating stakeholders toward informed decisions
Collaborate closely with the Media team to optimize channel strategy and ensure value messaging reaches fans in meaningful, culturally relevant ways
Partner with the Digital team to strengthen loyalty, pricing, offer strategy, and CRM integration within value campaigns
Manage and coach direct reports, providing clear expectations, actionable feedback, and growth-oriented development plans
Foster a culture of curiosity, creativity, and operational excellence within the Brand Content & Culture team
Champion cross team collaboration and elevate the role of fan led insight into all creative and strategic outputs
Uphold McDonald’s brand standards and ensure all value work is anchored in fan truths, cultural relevance, and system ambition
Proactively identify emerging cultural, social, and category trends that can inform value storytelling and drive differentiation
Evaluate creative work with a strong POV, ensuring the work is bold, clear, and aligned with the McDonald’s Feel-good creative ambition
Qualification
Required
7–9+ years of marketing, brand strategy, or integrated campaign leadership experience (QSR, consumer, retail, or agency experience preferred)
Proven experience leading large, cross functional initiatives and high visibility campaigns
Strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into effective creative briefs and breakthrough work
Outstanding communication and storytelling skills; able to influence at all levels
Experience managing and developing talent
Comfortable navigating fast paced environments, multiple stakeholders, and evolving priorities
Deep curiosity about culture, creativity, and consumer behavior
