Law Practice
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage commercial and real estate litigation cases, ensuring timely progression and resolution
Conduct thorough reviews of case files to assess strengths, weaknesses, and develop strategic plans
Work closely with the founding attorney and support staff to ensure cohesive case management
Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, gather information, and offer legal guidance
Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and depositions
Perform legal research and draft necessary motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the State of New York
Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
Preferred
Commercial and real estate litigation experience is highly preferred
Trial experience is highly preferred
