Responsibilities
Under general supervision, the candidate will assist and support Purchasing professionals by being involved in the interaction and learning about various strategic sourcing techniques and processes such as but not limited to:
Supplier segmentation
Supplier risk analysis
Annual spend analysis
Strategic new product development
Negotiation
Replenishment strategies
Creation of strategic sourcing plans
Cost reduction projects revolving around our MRO and Capital purchases
Direct interaction and communication with suppliers
Qualification
Required
This position requires incumbent to be pursuing a bachelor degree in Supply Chain or Business
Good analytical and communication skills required
