Responsibilities
Support the growing areas of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center and National Space Intelligence Center
Focus on the development and analysis of models and simulations utilizing the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) Framework
Support various modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) project teams in evaluating the mission performance of military systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in a STEM field and 5 years of related experience OR Master of Science in a STEM field and 3 years of related experience
Active TS/SCI Clearance
Software development experience in C++, Python, etc
AFSIM Experience (scenario development, plugin development, etc)
Object detection and identification background
Demonstrated experience leveraging a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach
Experience using Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) to inform the development of systems along the left side of the 'systems engineering vee'
Experience using Python, MATLAB, SQL, or related technologies to interpret complex data sets
Comfortable communicating technical information to technical and non-technical customers
Experience mentoring and developing junior-level engineers
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
U.S. Citizenship with an active TS/SCI security clearance and INDOC'd on InSITE
Preferred
Experience using Python, MATLAB, SQL, or related technologies to interpret complex data sets
Experience reading and interpreting systems engineering models using the Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
Ability to support development of systems engineering models utilizing SysML and Cameo
Experience using agile development methodologies
Experience with AFSIM version 2505
