Responsibilities
Enhance and innovate CarMax’s auction website through scalable, customer‑focused engineering solutions
Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to design, test, and deliver impactful product enhancements
Translate experimentation and user insights into refined digital experiences
Contribute to agile ceremonies and continuous delivery practices
Promote technical ideas across the organization with clarity and purpose
Apply strong analytical skills to solve complex business challenges
Stay informed on emerging technologies to elevate system performance and reliability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating strong technical capability
At least 5 years of application development experience with modern engineering practices
5+ years of experience using .NET Core, C#, and Microsoft Azure services to build scalable solutions
Proficiency with SQL Server, NoSQL database technologies, and RESTful API development
Hands‑on experience with HTML, CSS, and Git for version control
Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments and collaborating effectively across multiple teams
Strong communication, rapid learning ability, and a proven track record of contributing successfully in a product‑focused environment
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Sponsorship will not be considered for this specific role

Experience with front‑end architecture
Experience with React.js and its core principles
