Responsibilities
Greet customers and serve as the main point of contact in person and via phone
Build and maintain positive relationships with key customers to promote return business
Assess customer needs by gathering relevant information and ensuring accuracy in documentation
Create basic work orders and enter data into appropriate systems
Provide timely status updates to customers as requested
Scan and upload data, ensuring attention to detail with notations and records
Demonstrate proper phone etiquette and professional communication at all times
Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist with customer inquiries and technical situations
Qualification
Required
1-2 years' experience in a service writer or service technician position
Passion for delivering top-tier customer service
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and maintain accurate records
Deliver friendly, respectful service; engage proactively with customers and resolve issues efficiently
Strong verbal and written skills to interact with customers, team members, and managers
Attention to detail, especially with notations and data entry
Mechanical aptitude or experience
Team player with strong interpersonal and soft skills
Ability to treat customers and colleagues with respect
Local to Chesapeake, VA or the metro area (onsite role, not remote)
Comfortable with Zoom interviews for the hiring process
