Phillips Infrastructure is seeking a Civil Dirt Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in construction projects. The role involves ensuring safety, inspecting work progress, and managing construction requirements while directly supervising a crew of up to 10 workers.

Responsibilities

Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met
Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures
Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs
Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of construction or extractive workers
Confer with supervisor, managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities
Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities
Order or requisition materials or supplies
Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using measuring and marking equipment
Record information such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports
Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs
Implement and enforce safety requirements for the job. Must have completed the OSHA 30 hour construction standards training course within the last 3 years
Required to drive motor vehicle in performance of duties
Ability to walk long distances in rough or variable terrain
Work in extreme hot or cold environments
Must be able to understand and follow safety considerations herein and as applies to the activity involved
May be required to lift up to 80 pounds and carry objects of 50 pounds or less routinely
