Responsibilities
Execute AI/ML Initiatives : Partner with data, technology, product, and business teams to deliver AI/ML solutions for Service operations that drive measurable business impact
End-to-End Model Lifecycle Management : Contribute to all phases including data exploration, feature development, model training/validation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous iteration to ensure models remain effective and aligned with business needs
Model Development and Operationalization : Develop and operationalize models using AWS services (SageMaker, Bedrock) and modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks), ensuring quality, security, and scalability; collaborate with ML engineers for large-scale production deployment
Design AI-Powered Automation Solutions : Assist in designing and evaluating agentic/AI-powered solutions that automate routine service tasks with appropriate human-in-the-loop checkpoints, escalation thresholds, and safety guardrails to ensure reliability and safety
Implement Advanced AI Techniques : Implement and refine LLM/RAG approaches including vector stores, embeddings, retrieval optimization, and prompt orchestration with evaluators to ensure reliability and performance
Enable Accessible AI Integration : Ensure AI capabilities are accessible through APIs, dashboards, and integrated workflow applications; build lightweight UI prototypes (e.g., Streamlit) to validate usability and support adoption by service teams
Maintain Governance and Best Practices : Adhere to model governance, documentation, testing, and CI/CD best practices in partnership with MLOps to ensure compliant and maintainable solutions
Qualification
Required
Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
7+ years of experience applying data science and AI/ML to real-world business problems
Proficiency in Python and SQL
Working knowledge of core software engineering concepts (version control with Git/GitHub, testing, logging)
Experience with AWS services (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock) and modern data ecosystems (Snowflake/Databricks)
Working knowledge of LLMs, RAG architecture, and agent frameworks, including safe automation design and evaluation practices
Solid grounding in ML methods including supervised and unsupervised learning, gradient boosting, exposure to deep learning, feature engineering, regularization, and cross-validation
Strong ability to communicate complex ideas simply, presenting impact, trade-offs, and recommendations to non-technical partners
Proven ability to translate analytical findings into clear business insights and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners
Preferred
Experience working for financial services
Track record of deploying production ML/AI solutions at scale
Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools
Experience building user interfaces or prototypes for AI applications
