Responsibilities

Assisting taxpayers and county officials with property tax questions
Providing guidance to taxpayers and county officials on statutory requirements
Reviewing and analyzing legislative bills related to property tax to determine effectiveness and the impact of passage on the state and county officials
Developing bill analyses, technical amendments, and post-legislative summaries
Performing rulemaking activities, including drafting and updating administrative rules to implement property tax laws
Researching and interpreting laws, rules, case law, and agency guidance impacting Florida's property tax system
Performing other duties as required

Required

Four or more years of relevant professional experience with the State of Florida's laws, rules, and procedures

Experience collaborating across interdisciplinary teams

Preferred

Experience with the legislative process
Experience in the administrative rulemaking process
