This role involves developing quality controls, driving root-cause resolution, and collaborating cross-functionally to improve manufacturing and test processes.

Responsibilities
Develop and integrate in-line and End-of-Line quality and functional checks into the manufacturing process
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for assembly-related issues
Design, implement, and optimize End-of-Line (EOL) testing processes
Create and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, and APQP documentation
Analyze manufacturing and quality data to drive process and test improvements
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve supplier quality and design-related issues
Support the definition and continuous improvement of Quality Policies and Manuals
Develop procedures, work instructions, and processes aligned with IATF 16949, ISO 9000, and related quality system standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
6–8 years of experience in manufacturing and/or quality engineering
Hands-on experience with FMEA, Control Plans, and APQP
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Vehicle or complex assembly quality: 6 years
PFMEA & Control Plan ownership: 6 years
APQP deliverables in production: 5 years
End-of-Line test process development: 5 years
Root cause analysis in manufacturing: 6 years
Automotive quality systems IATF/ISO: 6 years
CATIA V5/V6: 2 years

Work Location: In person
Preferred
Experience with Automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
Lean Six Sigma or Shainin certification
Experience with CATIA V5/V6
