Field Engineer
Quecon, Inc. is seeking qualified Field Technicians/Engineers to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Selected candidates will perform a wide range of technical and field-based activities in support of FAA programs, contributing to both short- and long-term mission objectives.

Responsibilities
Conduct site surveys and develop installation plans in coordination with the Program Management Office (PMO)
Perform installation, removal, and modification of telecommunications equipment at sites nationwide
Execute light site preparation, construction, and electrical work to support infrastructure upgrades
Perform trenching activities using hand tools and light equipment (e.g., mini-excavator, skid steer, trencher, drill, compactor)
Provide technical support for voice-grade, data communications, digital, and IP telecommunications service cutovers
Assist with updating and maintaining operational telecommunications records and documentation
Climb towers to install, align, or remove microwave antennas, waveguides, and related equipment
Support network transitions with a focus on cost efficiency, schedule adherence, and operational continuity
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience supporting or leading critical telecommunications network transitions
Background in telecommunications, networking, or communications systems
General working knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices
Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain the required security clearance
Ability to lift 75 pounds or more
Valid driver's license
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, etc.)
Willingness to travel extensively (estimated 50–75%)
Preferred
Experience supporting the FAA or similar federal agencies
