They are seeking a Financial Technician I to perform paraprofessional accounting and fiscal control functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll preparation, and budget monitoring.

Responsibilities
Ensure Travel statements, Basic Expense Forms, and Purchase Orders are processed and paid accurately and timely
Ensure all Travel statements follow SAO policies and requirements
Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly activities
Process assigned Basic Expense Forms, contracts, reclaim and MSLR invoices accurately and timely
Review and resolve budget rejections daily
Help research and follow – up with outstanding Travel advances
Review critical payments weekly/and or monthly to ensure payment is made timely to prevent disconnection and notices, including but not limited to rent and utilities
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED AND two (2) years of job-related accounting or fiscal experience
OR One (1) year of experience at the lower level Accounting Technician Trainee (FIT019) or equivalent position
Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable
Efficient Data Processing skills
Self-starter who desires to develop his/her talent and advance within the organization
