Responsibilities
Finite Element Analysis: Set up and run FEA simulations using in‑house tools and workflows
Data Analysis & Reporting: Interpret simulation outputs, analyze results, and summarize findings for broader engineering teams
Automation: Develop scripts, macros, and tools to streamline and enhance simulation processes
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and other internal teams to support design, validation, and development activities
Test & Validation Understanding: Apply knowledge of testing methods and instrumentation to support simulation correlation and validation
Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver detailed technical presentations for engineering reviews and project discussions
Qualification
Required
Working knowledge of Dassault Abaqus; familiarity with CATIA is an asset
Programming skills in MATLAB, Java, and Python
Understanding of internal combustion, hybrid, and electric powertrain architectures
Completed coursework in Statics, Dynamics, and Materials Engineering
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work, including documentation and adherence to engineering standards
Mature, responsible, and capable of working autonomously
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong team player
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required
Preferred
Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DoE) and its application to simulation/optimization is a plus
Knowledge of control systems and their relevance to powertrain applications
