Responsibilities
Lead and mentor product or service teams on technical design and delivery
Define and document solution approaches for technical challenges
Build and maintain development and delivery standards
Translate business needs into architectural requirements
Create and maintain solution design specifications
Provide expert guidance in areas such as applications, data, integrations, security, operations and system management
Ensure systems and solutions remain compatible and interoperable
Support SDLC and change management processes
Contribute to long term product and technology roadmaps
Plan and implement security measures to protect information
Recommend upgrades and improvements
Participate in on call coverage when needed
Keep technical and professional skills current
Follow reporting, timekeeping and collaboration processes
Assist in identifying and resolving product or service issues
Support cost benefit and ROI analysis for new or existing solutions
Work with external technology partners when issues require escalation
Participate in cross departmental initiatives
Support quality assurance activities
Demonstrate the company's values and maintain reliable attendance
Perform other duties and project work as needed
Qualification
Required
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred
12+ years of IT development or equivalent experience preferred
Experience as a Technical Lead or Project Architect on complex, multi system projects
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both business and technical teams
Strong problem solving skills and ability to recommend solutions
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to guide and coordinate team members without direct management responsibility
Knowledge of relevant programming languages and technologies
Willingness to travel for business needs when required
Successful completion of a criminal background check
