Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day activities on multiple accounts from chefs and restaurants, cookbook authors and personalities, CPG and travel-related clients
Build relationships with editors and writers and proactively pitch various clients / products across media platforms including print, digital, broadcast and social
Coordinate partnerships and events on behalf of clients
Manage product mailers and requests for both editorial and social influencers
Draft press releases and pitch language
Research, build and maintain media contact lists
Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new and creative ways to bring awareness to clients
Management activities - scheduling meetings, compiling agendas, meeting recaps, monitor press coverage, maintain tracking documents and generate clips
Create and maintain professional and successful relationships with clients
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in public relations
Strong passion for and deep knowledge about the food and hospitality space
Ability to write a great pitch
Ability to provide stable support to a growing, fast-paced agency
Ability to follow news and industry trends
Ability to act quickly and multitask efficiently
Confident communicator
Team player with a positive attitude
Preferred
Specific experience in the hospitality category
