Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the Family Law practice
Maintain an active family law caseload, including complex matters
Meet established billable hour expectations annually consistent with firm standards
Mentor and support associate attorneys
Provide guidance on case strategy, quality control, and client service
Oversee case flow and ensure consistency across the team
Collaborate with firm ownership on staffing, workflow, and practice growth
Serve as a steady, reliable presence for both clients and staff
Qualification
Required
Active Texas Bar license
5+ years of family law experience practicing in Texas
Strong litigation experience in family law matters
Ability to manage an active caseload while meeting billing expectations
Experience mentoring, supporting, or informally leading junior attorneys
Strong communication, organization, and client-management skills
Ability to work onsite in the Angleton / Pearland / League City area
Preferred
Prior experience as a Managing Attorney, Supervising Attorney, or Practice Group Lead
Experience working in firms with strong infrastructure and support staff
Background helping stabilize or scale a growing legal practice
Spanish fluency
Senior family law attorneys interested in growing into long-term leadership roles
