Responsibilities
Lead technical design and delivery of distributed, cloud‑native solutions that support pharmacy business outcomes
Translate user and business requirements into scalable, maintainable system designs
Provide hands‑on technical guidance and best practices for deploying solutions in AWS‑based cloud environments
Drive enterprise integrations using modern, industry‑standard technologies and frameworks
Identify, prevent, and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring performance, security, and reliability
Partner closely with product owners, architects, and agile teams to deliver high‑quality solutions
Review designs and code to ensure alignment with architecture standards and engineering best practices
Mentor and support team members through day‑to‑day technical leadership and knowledge sharing
Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and cloud adoption strategies
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands‑on experience in software engineering or application development roles
Strong experience designing and developing applications using Java and/or Python in cloud environments
Proven experience with AWS cloud services and distributed system design
Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and service‑based architectures
Experience working with API gateways and enterprise integrations
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and structured data formats (XML/JSON)
Experience with NoSQL databases
Familiarity with agile/scrum development methodologies
Experience using modern development tools such as JIRA, GitHub, and Jenkins
Preferred
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
Exposure to event‑driven architectures using platforms like Kafka
Experience with Gen AI IDE like Cursor, Qiro, Github CoPoliot
Background supporting large‑scale, enterprise‑level applications in regulated environments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
MongoDB experience is a plus
