Network Engineering and Infrastructure Supervisor

The Network Engineering & Infrastructure Supervisor will lead a critical infrastructure team and be responsible for the design, performance, and reliability of a large, enterprise-grade Cisco environment.

Responsibilities
Design, configure, and manage Cisco routing, switching, and data center infrastructure across core, distribution, and access layers
Administer and optimize Cisco Meraki wireless networks for enterprise performance and coverage
Manage Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), including call routing, voicemail, and contact center features
Oversee data center network operations, ensuring redundancy, segmentation, and high availability
Lead network monitoring, alerting, performance tuning, and escalation for complex issues
Ensure network and infrastructure configurations adhere to HIPAA, NIST, and organizational security standards
Supervise Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, Access Management, and VoIP team members
Conduct performance evaluations, manage workloads, prioritize projects, and guide team development
Partner with IT leadership on budgeting, capacity planning, and long-term technology roadmaps
Maintain detailed documentation, SOPs, and runbooks for all infrastructure components
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on Cisco networking experience in a complex enterprise environment
Strong expertise in Cisco routing/switching, Meraki wireless, and CUCM administration
Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, and broader IT infrastructure operations
Understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts
Proven experience leading or supervising technical teams
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred
CCNP or equivalent Cisco certifications
Experience supporting contact center platforms such as Cisco UCCX
Familiarity with firewall management, VPN technologies, and network segmentation strategies
Healthcare IT experience and understanding of HIPAA/security frameworks
Exposure to cloud integrations, modernization initiatives, or emerging technologies
