Compliance Development and Support Lead

Responsibilities

Lead services to support Department of War (DOW) financial policy, processes, and procedures including development
Lead teams to prepare for and conduct audits
Support Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness efforts
Support requirements for development and agile iteration of finance information systems
Advise government decision makers on enterprise financial risks and options

Required

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
Ten (10) or more years of experience
Advanced degree and/or professional certification may be substituted for equivalent years of experience
Experience in one or more of: Leading audit and/or audit readiness teams including Certified Public Accountants or Independent Public accountants
Complex federal government audits including Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 18 (SSAE 18) Service Organizations Controls

Preferred

Relevant advanced degree
Relevant certification
Experience in the compliance lead role is preferred working on projects for: Under secretary of War (Personnel & Readiness) Front Office Readiness
Chief Talent Management Office (CTMO)
Manpower & Reserve Affairs
Defense Health Agency (DHA)
Office of Force Resiliency
Functional Financial Management Support (FFMS)
