The Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op position provides an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the design and manufacturing of industrial pumps, supported by mentorship from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and procure the necessary fixtures, equipment, or tools necessary for assembly operations
Perform and document root cause analysis
Participate in Gemba/morning market walks and act on escalations by implementing engineering solutions
Employ Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques to increase manufacturing capacity, productivity, and overall operational effectiveness
Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout
Develop and maintain standard work instructions for the various production areas
Ability to read and create CAD models. Exposure to Creo Pro-E preferred
Perform Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize manufacturing processes
Qualification
Required
Working towards BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of engineering is preferred
Must be a Junior or Senior level student
Design, develop, and procure the necessary fixtures, equipment, or tools necessary for assembly operations
