Head of Human Resources
Sentinel is seeking a dynamic Head of Human Resources professional to lead their people strategy and elevate their HR function as they scale. This role combines hands-on execution with strategic influence, overseeing internal people operations and supporting external HR consulting services.
Responsibilities
Build and execute scalable people strategies aligned to business growth and culture
Strengthen HR infrastructure, policies, compliance, and systems
Lead HRIS optimization, process improvement, and automation
Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and performance
Lead recruiting strategy, employer branding, and hiring practices
Strengthen performance management, employee engagement, and career development
Build learning, leadership, and succession initiatives
Use data and feedback to drive better hiring, retention, and engagement outcomes
Guide and grow the organization’s HR consulting practice
Lead client strategy and deliver high-impact HR solutions
Develop scalable tools, frameworks, and consulting offerings
Support business growth through thought leadership and client engagement
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
Strong foundation in talent, employee relations, HR operations, and systems
Experience scaling HR in a small, growing, or fast-moving organization
Comfortable being hands-on while thinking strategically
Experience with HRIS, ATS, and modern HR technology
Preferred
Prior consulting or client-facing experience is a plus
