Responsibilities
Serve as the technical authority across system architecture, design decisions, and engineering standards
Own end-to-end system engineering, from concept and requirements definition through qualification and flight readiness
Lead and align multidisciplinary engineering teams across mechanical, electrical, software, and systems
Drive technical trade studies, risk assessments, and design reviews at system and subsystem level
Partner closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and program leadership to ensure designs are production-ready
Establish scalable engineering processes, documentation standards, and configuration control
Act as a key technical interface with customers, partners, and external stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Significant technical leadership experience within space, aerospace, or complex hardware systems
Strong background in system-level design and architecture
Experience scaling engineering organizations in growth-stage or NewSpace environments
Proven ability to balance technical rigor with execution speed
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Preferred
Master's or PhD preferred
