Responsibilities
JV Architecture & Design: Design and configure Oracle Joint Venture Management to handle complex healthcare ownership structures, including "Carried Interest" and varying stakeholder percentages
Transaction Identification: Create automated rules to identify distributable transactions from the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Project Costing that pertain to specific outpatient clinics or joint-owned ventures
Split & Distribution Management: Configure ownership definitions and date-effective stakeholder percentages to ensure accurate "split" calculations for revenue and operating expenses
Invoicing & Settlement: Set up the automated generation of Receivables (AR) invoices for partners’ shares of costs and Payables (AP) invoices/Internal Journals for revenue distributions
Compliance & Audit: Maintain a clear audit trail of all JV distributions to minimize partner disputes and ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements and internal governance
Stakeholder Reporting: Develop real-time dashboards and reports using OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) to give JV partners visibility into the financial health and operational measures of the venture
Entity Management: Manage the financial separation between the "Managing Partner" (the Lead Health System) and "Non-Operating Partners" (Physician Groups or Academic Medical Centers)
Cost Allocation: Lead the strategy for allocating shared "overhead" costs (e.g., centralized laboratory services, corporate IT, or shared nursing pools) to specific joint venture entities
Integration: Work closely with the clinical revenue cycle teams to ensure patient service revenue is correctly routed and identified for JVM processing
Qualification
Required
Oracle Fusion Expertise: Minimum 5+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, with at least 2 full-lifecycle implementations of Oracle Joint Venture Management (JVM)
Healthcare Experience: Deep understanding of healthcare provider financial operations (e.g., multi-entity health systems, physician-owned clinics, or ASC management)
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Oracle FSM (Functional Setup Manager), OTBI, and the 'Identify Joint Venture Transactions' scheduled processes
Accounting Knowledge: Strong grasp of Joint Operating Agreements (JOA), partner equity, and intercompany eliminations
Preferred
Experience with Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) integration for capital-heavy joint ventures (e.g., building a new hospital wing)
Oracle Cloud Financials Certification
Experience with 'Direct Billing' configurations within JVM for specific partner-only expenses
