Program Manager
FPC of Savannah is a Global Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing organization seeking a Program Manager with experience in large-scale DoD contracts. The role involves planning, development, and execution of defense programs while managing stakeholder relationships and project teams.

Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans outlining phases, tasks, milestones, and deliverables
Define project scope, objectives, and timelines
Create resource allocation plans and work within the cross functional organization to ensure required resources are available
Assist in the preparation of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts
Engage confidently with senior military leaders, government representatives, and industry partners
Communicate regularly with stakeholders to manage expectations and address concerns
Manage contracts, ensure deliverables are met, and resolve customer-related issues
Assemble and lead project teams, ensuring clarity of tasks and responsibilities
Foster a collaborative environment and resolve conflicts
Provide guidance, support, and training to team members
Prepare program management reviews, management progress reports, and presentations
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are kept within limits
Monitor labor, material, overhead, and related program costs
Control expenditures and ensure efficient use of resources
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and maintain contingency plans
Coordinate Risk management activities with both internal and external stakeholders
Ensure adherence to organizational policies, standards, ITAR, and regulatory requirements
Support CMMC familiarity and compliance
Implement quality control processes and conduct regular reviews
Address quality issues promptly
Manage changes to project scope, schedule, or resources
Document, communicate, and secure approvals for changes while mitigating impact
Act as a leadership-level PM contributing directly to the executive team and long-term growth strategy
Drive ramp-up execution and rapid program expansion
Integrate manufacturing, facilities, supply chain, and operations into program success
Build long-term supply chain partnerships using best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and technical experience
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification required
Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Program Manager in a DoD environment managing large-scale contracts $100M+ level
Preferred
Preference for candidates with PM experience as US DOD Prime
Navy program background is a strong plus
