Responsibilities

Serve as the executive leader for Revenue Cycle Management, partnering closely with the CFO, COO, clinical leadership, and Board
Own the end-to-end revenue lifecycle, from patient access through cash realization
Oversee front-end functions including eligibility, authorizations, and intake
Lead coding, billing, collections, denials management, and cash posting
Drive payer contracting alignment and reimbursement optimization
Navigate and operationalize complex payer rules, including Medicaid, Medicare, managed care, and commercial payers
Manage high-complexity dynamics such as authorization-driven care, level-of-care changes, and elevated denial risk
Lead technology implementations and optimizations (EHRs, billing platforms, analytics, RPA)
Build, mentor, and retain high-performing RCM leadership and teams
Establish scalable KPIs, SOPs, governance, and operating cadence
Support enterprise growth initiatives including new programs, new states, payer expansion, and M&A
Elevate RCM from a back-office function to a strategic enterprise asset

Required

Bachelor's degree required
12+ years of progressive, full-cycle Revenue Cycle Management experience
Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end RCM in complex healthcare environments
Proven success building, scaling, and leading RCM teams and standardized processes
Strong executive leadership presence with the ability to influence at the C-suite and Board level
Track record of cross-functional leadership across finance, operations, IT, and clinical teams

Preferred

Background in Healthcare, Behavioral Health, Mental Health Services, or Substance Use Disorder (SUD, OTP, MAT, MMT) environments
Experience operating in highly regulated, payer-dense reimbursement models
