Responsibilities
Perform random inspections of existing SKUs in DC inventory, as well as incoming products, upon being unloaded from containers in a warehouse/shop environment
Assure that the products meet requirements for quality, safety, function, packaging, labeling, weights, dimensions and workmanship
Write inspection reports and maintain tracker status. Document all non-conformances and provide detail
Apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks
Follow established QA procedures
Perform 100% screen / rework on non-conforming products
Additional duties as assigned by the QA Supervisor
Qualification
Required
Requires a minimum of 1-2 years of related job experience
Must be reliable and a team player
Good written and communication skills
General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time
Lift up to 35 to 50 lbs
Must excel at working and leading in a team environment
Must have an ability to communicate clearly at all levels of management & employees - through verbal and written communications
Must have the requisite computer skills to effectively manage all aspects of a project
The candidate must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, without endangering the health or safety of self or others
Preferred
Some tool knowledge is desirable but not required
