Maintain, manage, and inspire a full team through recruiting, interviewing, mentoring, and coaching
Perform comprehensive assessments, coordinate individualized care plans, and provide empathetic, personalized care
Liaise seamlessly with internal staff, third-party vendors, and medical professionals
Lead staff meetings, manage service agreements, update physician order sheets, and assure compliance with healthcare protocols
Ensure proper medication management, complete timely audits, handle incident reporting, and conduct investigations
Assist community during emergencies
Qualification
Required
Leadership Excellence: Maintain, manage, and inspire a full team through recruiting, interviewing, mentoring, and coaching
Resident-Centric Care: Perform comprehensive assessments, coordinate individualized care plans, and provide empathetic, personalized care
Effective Collaboration: Liaise seamlessly with internal staff, third-party vendors, and medical professionals
Quality Assurance: Lead staff meetings, manage service agreements, update physician order sheets, and assure compliance with healthcare protocols
Continuous Oversight: Ensure proper medication management, complete timely audits, handle incident reporting, and conduct investigations
Emergency Response: Assist community during emergencies
Knowledgeable of standards of care and practices applicable to the delivery of geriatric services, complex medical conditions, multiple medical diagnoses, including preventive measures, rehabilitation, and promoting independence
Expertise in most up-to-date safety and infection control practices

LVN, LPN or Registered Nurse with a current license in good standing
Preferred
Five years' previous management experience preferred
Experience in geriatric nursing or gerontology, including education in the aging process, memory decline and related behavior management highly preferred
A bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
Five to seven years' experience in a senior care environment preferred
Experience building and leading effective nursing teams including hiring, training and development
