Responsibilities

Identifies, documents, and optimizes workflows to improve organizational efficiency, typically under supervision
Analyze data, update work in progress funds, map current processes, identify bottlenecks, and support stakeholders in implementing improvements, often using tools like flowcharting software, Excel and Smart Sheets with Dynamic view and conducting audits
Discuss areas of focus with executives to improve the business
Conduct site analyses to assess current processes
Interviewing employees to discuss areas for improvement
Gathering and processing performance data
Designing strategies to improve workflow strategies
Presenting strategies to executives and applying any feedback
Overseeing the implementation of updated processes
Training employees on new processes
Adjusting new business processes when necessary
Staying up to date with best business practices and technological developments
Process Mapping & Documentation: Create flowcharts, diagrams, and documentation to visualize current, or 'as-is,' processes and design future, 'to-be' workflows
Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect data and user feedback to identify inefficiencies, risks, and bottlenecks
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and communicate findings
Process Improvement: Recommend improvements or automation opportunities to increase productivity, reduce costs, or enhance quality
Testing & Implementation: Support testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and deployment of new processes or systems

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
Analytical thinking
Strong communication
Familiarity with BPM (Business Process Management) tools
Experience with Design and Implementation flows of Smart sheets with Dynamic Views
2-5 years of experience in business analysis, operations, or process improvement roles
Knowledge of process mapping tools
Understanding of data analysis tools
Exposure to SOX Controls
