Mechanical Designer, Houston
Halff is a full-service infrastructure consulting firm that has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Designer supporting their Mechanical Engineering department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC and hydronic systems, performing routine calculations, and assisting in project cost estimation and specification writing.

Responsibilities
Basic design and layout of HVAC air and hydronic systems
Set-up drawing sheets in REVIT, develop equipment schedules, and run basic calculations
Assisting in estimated project construction cost and specification writing
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years experience designing HVAC and hydronic systems
Experience with Trane Trace 3D
Must have experience with Revit experience
Associates Degree in related field is required
Working knowledge of IMC and other related codes
Preferred
Bachelor's degree is a plus
