Responsibilities
Supervise, direct, and motivate a team of 2-10 skilled operators and laborers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely
Lead and schedule crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries to meet project timelines and budget requirements
Assist in determining labor, equipment, and material needs to ensure optimal resource allocation for each project
Work closely with other foremen, superintendents, project managers, vendors, owners, and inspectors to coordinate efforts and ensure project success
Maintain accurate records, including timesheets, safety logs, production, attendance reports, and other necessary documentation
Promote and enforce company safety policies and practices to maintain a safe working environment for all team members and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in site work leadership, including overseeing sewer, storm, and water main installations
Proficient in operating heavy equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues
Strong leadership and communication abilities, with experience managing diverse teams in a dynamic work environment
A deep understanding of safety protocols and the ability to enforce these standards on the job site
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical examination
