Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic initiatives that advance Asset Servicing’s data strategy, including the use of existing data sets and emerging technologies such as blockchain and AI
Collaborate with the Data Office and other internal stakeholders to build foundational data capabilities that support future innovation and operational efficiency
Lead efforts to identify and evaluate new opportunities for product development and strategic growth within Asset Servicing
Navigate a complex, highly regulated environment to drive initiatives forward with minimal oversight
Build and maintain strong relationships across internal teams and external partners to support strategic goals and foster innovation
Translate business needs into actionable strategies and execution plans, including technology enablement and process optimization
Serve as a thought leader in data architecture and strategy, with a working knowledge of platforms such as Snowflake and SQL
Evaluate and recommend generative AI platforms, considering their strengths, limitations, and applicability to Asset Services use cases
Actively contribute to cross-functional initiatives, working with Technology, Finance, Legal, and other teams to ensure alignment and execution
Maintain awareness of industry trends and regulatory developments relevant to Asset Servicing and financial services
Develop and mentor junior product managers through hands-on guidance, structured feedback and skill-building opportunities to strengthen product management capabilities
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5-7+ years of experience in strategy, product development, or data-driven roles within financial services or a related field
Proven ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, complex environment
Strong understanding of data architecture, data platforms (e.g., Snowflake), and SQL
Foundational understanding of reference data in Asset Services
Familiarity with generative AI platforms and their application in financial services
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred
Track record of leadership of a small, versatile team with an eye towards expansion
