Responsibilities
Prepare and file sales tax returns, manage sales tax audits, and ensure compliance with sales tax regulations across various jurisdictions
Assist in the preparation and filing of property tax returns, manage property tax assessments and appeals, and ensure timely payment of property taxes
Conduct tax research and stay updated on new tax laws and regulations
Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and related financial statement disclosures
Provide support during tax audits and respond to tax authorities' inquiries
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for tax filings and ensure accuracy in the reporting process
Maintain organized records and documentation for all tax-related activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Basic knowledge of tax laws and regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Prior experience in tax accounting or related field
Familiarity with tax preparation software
