Responsibilities
Responsible for managing division’s sales function
Responsible for achieving sales and/or retention goals for division across all product lines
Development and management of distribution channels including direct, independent agent and consultant sales channels
Responsible for maintaining superior service and responsiveness to existing key accounts/distribution channel
Responsible for budgeting, planning and staffing for sales department
Responsible for sales training to keep staff current on continuing education requirements as well as sales presentation skills
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
10+ Years of experience in aggressive sales and management
Management experience can be equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above
Typical office environment. Travel is required to support company revenue objectives
Preferred
Strong sales knowledge, understanding of principles and techniques
Strong leadership and sales training skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to prioritize effectively and make sound decisions
Strong industry knowledge and experience
Effective customer service, presentation and organizational skills
Results driven
Strong financial acumen, understanding of risk and underwriting
