Responsibilities
Serve as the functional Tier 2 support resource for PeopleSoft Procure-to-Pay modules, including Purchasing, Accounts Payable, eProcurement, and Supplier Management
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve system issues escalated from Tier 1 support or end users
Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional system solutions
Configure and maintain PeopleSoft P2P functionality to support business processes and organizational objectives
Work closely with technical teams to design, test, and implement system enhancements, fixes, and upgrades
Develop and execute test plans, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for system changes and releases
Create functional design documentation, process flows, and training materials
Provide end-user support and training on PeopleSoft P2P processes and best practices
Analyze current business processes and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
Develop reports and queries to support operational and financial reporting needs
Ensure data integrity, compliance, and alignment with internal controls and audit requirements
Participate in PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and new module implementations
Act as liaison between business users, technical teams, and external vendors as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 3–5 years of functional experience supporting PeopleSoft Financials, specifically within Procure-to-Pay modules
Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Purchasing, Accounts Payable, eProcurement, and related P2P processes
Experience providing functional Tier 2 application support
Solid understanding of the full system development life cycle (SDLC)
Proven ability to gather and document business requirements and translate them into system solutions
Experience with system configuration, testing, and implementation of enhancements
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Experience with PeopleSoft version 9.2 or higher
Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Query, reporting tools, and SQL
Prior experience in public sector, higher education, or large enterprise environments
Familiarity with integration tools and interfaces within PeopleSoft
Experience supporting system upgrades and patching activities
Knowledge of internal controls, compliance, and audit processes related to P2P
