Responsibilities
Architect and Lead: Design and implement state-of-the-art BMC TSSA architectures to streamline enterprise automation initiatives, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance
Platform Management: Lead complex upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning across diverse multi-platform environments to ensure high availability and optimal performance
Troubleshooting and Resolution: Provide expert-level support to swiftly diagnose and resolve critical technical issues impacting system availability and security compliance
Automation Development: Create and refine sophisticated automation frameworks utilizing NSH, PowerShell, Python, and Bash to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
Patch Management: Oversee enterprise patch management strategies for Windows and Linux servers, aligning with DoD and security standards to maintain system integrity
DevOps Integration: Seamlessly integrate TSSA automation solutions into DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows, accelerating modernization and deployment cycles
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure automation architecture aligns with organizational objectives, security policies, and compliance requirements
Documentation and Standards: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, processes, and automation standards to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Active Secret clearance
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+)
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with BMC TrueSight Server Automation (TSSA), including implementation, upgrades, and administration
Proficiency in scripting languages: NSH, PowerShell, Python, Bash, Java
Extensive experience with server patch management for Windows and Linux environments using TSSA
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues
Preferred
Experience supporting DoD or U.S. Coast Guard environments
Familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server databases
Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Knowledge of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools
