Responsibilities

Collaborate with mechanical and electrical design engineers to review drawings, wire‑routing lists, and project scope
Develop detailed build plans, generate engineering estimates, and create project schedules
Lead the technician team through daily tasking, build execution, and integration of rack hardware
Track cost and schedule performance, attend status meetings, and report metrics to internal and external customers
Adapt to dynamic R&D requirements, supporting capital R&D projects and ensuring timely delivery of solutions

Required

Bachelors degree or 5+ years of relevant experience
Experience in electrical rack build methods, ability to interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics and/or work in process concepts
Experience in simulation/test equipment (e.g. Simulated Cockpits, Computer Systems, Visual Systems, etc...)
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance

Preferred

Possess a general knowledge of Fabrication of electrical/mechanical assemblies and understanding of engineering drawings
Project Management skills are highlight desired
Understanding of Aviation industry standards and how they apply to military applications
Experience in computer applications involving spreadsheets and/or databases and/or Lead experience
