Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree
Excellent skills in problem solving, hypothesis development and testing, writing and scientific communication
Experience in standard molecular and genetic techniques centered on a model organism (mouse, zebrafish, fly, or yeast)
Ability to manage research projects and train junior scientists
Experience in maintaining a dynamic laboratory environment
Knowledge of transcriptional regulation of cardiovascular differentiation and development
Understanding of cell signaling pathways and their intersection with vascular-related diseases within the brain
Preferred
Experience in Genetics (as well as cre/lox technology, CRISPR/Cas9, transgenes, etc)
Bioinformatics knowledge
