Cabinetry Design and Sales Specialist

Hamilton Building Supply is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Cabinetry Design and Sales Specialist. The role involves all aspects of residential cabinetry design and sales, focusing on collaboration with clients and professional contractors to create detailed designs and maintain project organization.

Responsibilities

Develop business with professional contractors to serve the kitchen and bath projects for their homeowner clients
Maintain a well-organized list for priorities, workspace, and file tree
Work diligently and collaboratively with clients through all the highly detailed aspects of a well-developed design
Maintain accurate and detailed project/meeting notes and drawings
Produce layouts through applicable design software (2020, Chief Architect, etc.)
Create comprehensive installation binders for each project
Record all customer inquiries in company provided database
Work through order entries, contract agreements, delivery schedules, and follow-up
Review vendor confirmation against our purchase orders to make sure item specifications and costs match
Responsible for one's own order entries, contract agreements, delivery schedules, and follow-up
Maintain a shared folder of finished images and order information of every completed project
Provide showroom floor coverage and handle all phone inquiries on assigned days and convey information appropriately
May produce design work for commercial or residential projects

Required

At least five years of cabinetry design experience
Strong creative abilities and presentation skills
Ability to layout an executable design plan
Well versed in cabinet nomenclature, materials, and production
Strong level of proficiency with desktop computing tools such as Microsoft Office Applications, 2020 design software and related software
Ability to use internet in a business capacity
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and attention to detail
Effective communication skills, excellent sales and customer service skills
