5+ years expScalence L.L.C. is seeking an Engineering Prototype Technician for general mechanical prototype support with a focus on cable harness assembly. The technician will be responsible for assembling, testing, and repairing cable harness prototypes, as well as assisting with memory test equipment and fixtures.

Qualification
Required
Engineering Technician experience
Prototypes experience
cable harness assembly experience
Mechanical background
Digital Voltmeter experience
Experience with harness assembly techniques, and familiarity with crimping tools and wire stripping methods
Experience with safety practices around electricity and electrical components
Experience with building mechanical prototypes
Experience with small hand tools/Power Tools. (screwdrivers, etc.)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Must be able to communicate with cross functional personnel (Verbally and by email)
Needs to be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Able to work overtime if required
Preferred
5 years of related experience is desired
The ability to be on site 5 days a week, hours negotiable
Able to use Client Office (Excel/Word/PDF, etc.)
