Mid LevelNew York Technology Partners is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role is responsible for owning requirements end-to-end, translating business needs into clear technical documentation, and ensuring solutions are well-defined and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities
Own and manage business and technical requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Elicit, analyze, and document requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews
Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications (e.g., BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria)
Produce and maintain technical documentation, including data flows, process flows, system interactions, and integration requirements
Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, QA, and product teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements
Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies as needed
Validate solutions through reviews, walkthroughs, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support
Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies, and proactively communicate impacts to stakeholders
Ensure requirements traceability and alignment with business goals
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role
Strong requirements ownership experience, from discovery through delivery
Solid technical writing skills with the ability to clearly document complex systems and workflows
Experience working with technical teams (engineering, data, integrations, APIs, etc.)
Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Preferred
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar
Background working on software, data, or integration-heavy projects
Understanding of system architecture, data models, and APIs
Prior experience supporting QA and UAT activities
