ILA Program Manager

Virginia Home for Boys and Girls (VHBG) is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting youth in crisis since 1846. The ILA Program Manager will oversee the ILA programs, manage daily operations, ensure compliance with trauma-informed care practices, and supervise staff while working directly with youth and their families.

Required

Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and experience working with youth with emotional or behavioral health needs
Program management skills, including program development, operational oversight, and coordination with stakeholders
Team leadership and supervisory experience with the ability to mentor and support staff
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building and collaboration
Proven ability to manage resources effectively, adhere to budgets, and meet organizational objectives
Comfort with maintaining compliance with local and state regulations and developing strategies to address challenges proactively
Valid driver's license and ability to work on-site in the Greater Richmond Region

Preferred

Relevant certifications or training in social work, counseling, or related fields preferred
A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline is advantageous
