Responsibilities
Support RF design and planning activities including coverage mapping and propagation analysis
Assist with drive tests, data collection, and log analysis
Support KPI monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting
Work with senior engineers on parameter audits, neighbor planning, and cluster tuning
Document findings and help prepare performance reports
Learn industry-standard tools and Verizon processes where applicable
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline
Foundational understanding of LTE/5G concepts, RF propagation, and cellular systems
Familiarity with RF tools (Actix, TEMS, Nemo, or similar)
Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn RF engineering best practices
Preferred
Internship or co-op experience with Verizon Wireless or another major carrier
Exposure to Atoll, Planet, WinProp, Actix, TEMS, Nemo, or similar tools
Basic Python, MATLAB, or scripting knowledge
Understanding of 3GPP basics, mobility concepts, and RF KPIs
