KIP Summer 2026 - Policy Intern - Taxpayers Protection Alliance Foundation
Stand Together is running the Koch Internship Program (KIP), a paid, 12-week experiential learning program offering meaningful work experience at non-profits. The role involves conducting research, drafting analyses, and monitoring legislative developments to support the policy team at the Taxpayers Protection Alliance Foundation.

Responsibilities
Draft original economic and regulatory analysis, to be published under your name
Conduct research to assist the policy team in drafting policy papers, op-eds, blogs, press releases, etc on a wide range of issue areas including tax reform, tech policy, healthcare, antitrust, regulation, and more
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, such as congressional votes and committee hearings
Attend various events in Washington, D.C., to promote TPAF’s interests
Qualification
Required
Candidates must be geographically located within the U.S
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. through the duration of the program
Candidates should have an interest in economic and regulatory policy areas now being debated in Congress and within the executive branch
Candidates must have a strong commitment to free-market economics and limited government
Candidates must have strong writing skills
All Koch Internship Program interns MUST be available every Thursday from 1-4:00 PM ET for virtual professional development training
Candidates must attend the in-person summit at Stand Together's Headquarters in Arlington, VA June 3-4
Preferred
Previous experience in policy research is preferred but not required
