Insight Global is looking for a full time/direct hire SUE Manager with a successful surveying/civil engineering services firm headquartered in St. Petersburg, FL. The SUE Manager is responsible for overseeing the SUE practice in an assigned region, managing multiple projects, and ensuring the accurate identification and mapping of underground utilities for infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Overseeing SUE projects from start to finish, balancing multiple projects simultaneously
Managing and directing SUE field crews and processors
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients
Ensuring work adheres to Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) standards, including the use of advanced locating technologies
Normal office environment with occasional field site visits for progress review and quality control or estimating new work and be able to travel out of town overnight for project assignments

Required

Must be comfortable working remotely, with frequent local travel to customer sites within the central East Florida area (will be provided company vehicle)
Minimum 5-10 years of SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering) experience
Minimum 3 years of in a people management/project management role (preferred within SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering))
Experiencing overseeing SUE projects from start to finish, balancing multiple projects simultaneously, and managing and directing field crews and processors
Experience with SUE practices and procedures in accordance with ASCE 38-02 & 38-22
Proficient with MS Office, and experience reading and ability to process CAD, GIS, and MicroStation files
Valid Driver's License required to regularly drive vehicles to project sites
