Manufacturing Engineering Technician (CNC)

Aimic Inc is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support production troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves working closely with manufacturing engineers to enhance methods, reduce costs, and improve product quality across various processes.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and analyze manufacturing issues, implementing corrective actions to support high-quality and efficient production
Support workflow analysis, work methods, and plant or department layouts to improve production flow
Assist production teams and new product development with CNC machine programming and troubleshooting
Identify tooling, jigs, fixtures, and special equipment required for new production or process improvements
Support installation, setup, and debugging of production equipment
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and profitability
Create, update, and maintain visual and written work instructions
Maintain and update manufacturing routings and documentation
Assist in developing manufacturing infrastructure for new or enhanced production processes
Conduct time studies and analyze manufacturing data to reduce waste, cycle time, and quality issues
Utilize ERP systems to retrieve, update, and maintain production-related information
Perform additional manufacturing support tasks as assigned

Qualification

CNC programmingSolidWorksManufacturing data analysisERP system experienceAdvanced Excel skillsMechanical aptitudeFiber optic laser programmingCommunication skillsOrganizational skills

Required

Associate's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field
Strong mechanical aptitude with general manufacturing equipment
3+ years of experience in CNC programming and machine operation
Ability to develop data-driven solutions in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in SolidWorks or a similar 3D CAD modeling software
Experience with manufacturing data analysis
Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred

ERP system experience preferred
Advanced Excel skills preferred
Experience with fiber optic laser programming is a plus
