The NYS Office of Information Technology Services is seeking a Student Assistant in Legal Technology to support the integration of technology products within the Division of Legal Technology. Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Product Manager to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for legal technology solutions
Prioritize product initiatives based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories
Facilitate workshops and interviews to understand user workflows and pain points
Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective adoption of new technologies
Monitor product performance and gather user feedback to identify areas for improvement
Create and maintain product documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and technical specifications
Prepare regular reports on product performance, project status, and key metrics
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the legal technology space
Identify opportunities to improve existing products and processes

Required

Must be a US citizen or foreign national eligible to work in the United States
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be currently attending a New York State college, university or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York State
Must have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a more extended period of time may qualify part-time students) OR currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program
Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or equivalent to a C
