Responsibilities
Responsible for the architecture, operation, and maintenance of enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) and orchestration platforms (e.g., GoAnywhere, Airflow) across hybrid environments
Monitor and optimize job executions and workflows to ensure data timeliness, accuracy, and successful completion across the organization
Monitor and maintain system(s) to ensure smooth execution. And take precaution action to minimize downtime
Manage complex data movements between on-premise systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), ensuring secure and efficient transfer to storage services like S3 or Google Cloud Storage
Lead data analysis to solve complex data transfer issues; analyze job failures and system alerts to perform deep-dive troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and escalation
Identify operational gaps in data workflows and orchestration logic, and recommend improvement actions to streamline B2B and cloud operations
Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, network, security, and cloud engineering teams to resolve incidents and improve system availability
Leverage analytical techniques to review logs and monitoring data (e.g., Splunk, CloudWatch, MFT logs) to identify hidden patterns, recurring issues, and opportunities for automation
Design and assist in onboarding new data workflows, including job configuration, scheduling, and ensuring data quality through validation of file completeness
Build, update, and maintain scripts (Python, Shell) to automate manual processes and support complex orchestration requirements in cloud and Linux environments
Document SOPs, runbooks, and operational procedures to drive support efficiency, standardization, and knowledge sharing
Participate in UAT and production validation for platform-related changes, enhancements, and patches
Help identify and solve user report issues
Help with support of ad-hoc tasks and deal with abnormal situations
Qualification
Required
3-5 Years of experience in data operations or related field
Experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) and orchestration platforms (e.g., GoAnywhere, Airflow)
Ability to monitor and optimize job executions and workflows
Experience managing complex data movements between on-premise systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
Proficiency in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and escalation of data transfer issues
Ability to identify operational gaps in data workflows and recommend improvements
Experience collaborating with IT, infrastructure, network, security, and cloud engineering teams
Proficiency in analytical techniques to review logs and monitoring data (e.g., Splunk, CloudWatch, MFT logs)
Experience in designing and onboarding new data workflows
Proficiency in scripting (Python, Shell) to automate processes
Ability to document SOPs, runbooks, and operational procedures
Experience participating in UAT and production validation
