Responsibilities
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production or office areas, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or other conditions that may require attention
Monitor and control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, and directing visitors through check-in procedures in accordance with site requirements
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal personnel and/or outside resources as needed
Prepare complete and accurate reports, maintain shift activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and onsite contacts
Qualification
Required
Possess an armed guard card and/or license
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Participate in industry-specific security training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
